Social Media

xʷəlməxʷqən Cultural Society (XWCS) uses social media to share hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ lessons and help to remove barriers language learners face when accessing hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ materials. Workshops

xʷəlməxʷqən Cultural Society (XWCS) has been successful in securing funding that has been instrumental in launching our in-person and online workshops. These workshops focus on sharing the resources we've developed through cultural activities such as plant walks, medicine making, fish bones processing, story creation, and more.

Academic Language Programs

There are academic programs available through post-secondary institutions that offer credited language cohorts that can lead to a degree. These programs are offered on either full-time or part time basis and are done in partnership with an Indigenous community.

If you are interested in pursuing an academic education in Indigenous Languages through a post-secondary institution, we've linked the SFU INLP Program page below.
